THE TWINS HAVE ARRIVED

 Here's the news. 

Feb. 7, 2006 in Evanston, Il.
 
Lily Elena Soldani, born at 8:44 AM.  7 lbs, 20 inches
Jacob Vincent Soldani, also born at 8:44 AM.  6 lbs 11 oz, 20 inches
 
Notice they were born in the same minute...that will be a conversation item for the ages!

OF COURSE we want to see the babies (ours and theirs) as soon as possible.  It's in the high 70's down here Tropical Pompano Beach.  Have no fear... we are ready for Chicago's' windy blasts.   Yes, Papa Winn bought two pairs of long pants!  Maria has a full length coat and we have been warned to "layer" and protect anything that is exposed. Spain, Marbella and Sevilla especially were cold last week so we were able to practice our "BRRRrrrr's".  Hey, down here "freezing" is anything below 50 degrees. 	SO WE RUSHED BACK from Spain so we could be ready for the babies. Here's Papa Winn with Lily in hospital Feb 10.
	HERE'S JAKE all bundled up ready to leave hospital.
Maria, it's snowing big ole fluffy flakes...we don't see snow in South Florida so this was a big treat.  It was much colder in Seville the week before
	PROUD grandparents...Maria is holding Jake and I have precious Lily. The twins are 8 weeks old now and growing rapidily.
	3 MONTHS OLD-AND GROWING
	Easter time and here they are with their twin cousins Catie and Jennie. Jake is growing faster and Lily is sleeping all night.
	6 Months old and they are turning into "Turtles"...Lily loves to smile and Jake is, well, Jake.
	Ok --7 months now and they are turning into real people.
